Register With AAU

Thank you for registering your team with AAU. I feel like and hope you and your team will have a wonderful experience with AAU events and will want to advance to the nationals. In years past, AAU nationals have been unsurpassed. I know this will continue in the future. If you have any problems, please let me know and I will try to do anything I can to arrive at a positive conclusion.

Unlike other organizations, AAU has the athletes and coaches register individually rather than a team registration.  The team/organization must register as either a club level 1, 2, or 3. Then the athletes and coaches must register individually under that club number. If you need more help, see this example registration.

If you think you might want to host an AAU event next year (after September 1st) you MUST join at the club level 2.

Before you register you need to decide if your coaches and athletes need a "general AAU membership" card ($12.00) or an "AB" AAU membership card ($14.00). See Kinds of Membership for more information.

You will need the following information:

Athletes (the choice "athlete" is for the players)

  • First, middle initial, and last name
  • Address including city, state and zip code
  • Date of birth
  • Phone number
  • Your credit card

Non-Athlete (manager, coach, bench coach, scorekeeper, event director, etc.)

  • The same information as athletes
  • Adult social security number OR birth city and state and country.
