How do I register with AAURegistering with AAU means you register your athletes and coaches with AAU, NOT your team. You register your team as a "Club". Your team will be issued a club number. Then your athletes and coaches register under your "club number". This "club" can be an organization such as XYZ Braves. Then each individual team of that organization can register their athletes and coaches under the organizational club number. Example: Memphis Tigers Organization can join as a club and would be issued a club number (WXYT54K). Then the Memphis Braves, Memphis Tigers 10U, Memphis Tigers 11U could use that number to enter their athletes and coaches. If your team is not affiliated with an organization, your individual team can have its own club. This registration can all be done online at www.aausports.org by clicking the "Join Now" button. When registering your athletes and coaches, you will need the following information: Name, address, phone number, and date of birth. When all is entered, you will be able to pay by credit card and print all the AAU cards. A couple of things you will need to keep in mind. Any non-athlete such as a coach, scorekeeper, manager, etc. is considered a "non-athlete". Also, we have 2 separate kinds of membership, the "normal AAU membership" and the "AB" membership? Whichever way you decide to go, keep all memberships the same. That means all normal membership cards OR all "AB" cards. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. |
